1,684 COEs unveiled for January open bidding exercise

Bids may be submitted starting 7 January.

According to LTA, the January 2013 first open bidding exercise for Certificates of Entitlement (COEs) will open on 7 January, 12noon, and will close on 9 January, 4 pm.

Tender results will be released on the same date and may be checked on www.onemotoring.com.sg. The total quota available for this tender is 1,684.

410 COEs will be available for small cars (Category A- 1,600cc and below), 363 for big ones (Category B - 1,601cc and above), and 462 for motorcycles.

For goods vehicles and buses (Category C), 193 COEs will be offered and 256 will be for the open category (Category E).

COEs for categories C and E are valid upon receipt until 14 April 2013 whilst COEs for categories A, B and D are valid until 14 July 2013.

Bid applications can be submitted through the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) of DBS/POSB, the Internet Banking facility provided by Citibank and UOB, or via the OCBC phone banking services.

The bid deposit for COEs in Categories A, B, C and E is $10,000 per bid application while that for Category D is $200 per bid application.
