This category's COE premium rockets to $97,000

Only 2 categories saw a decline.

According to a release, Certificate of Entitlement premiums had ended its first bidding exercise in December, with Category E (Open) jumping to $97,000. 

Rates for goods vehicles and buses also went up to $63,035, ending with 168 successful bidders.

COE premiums for small cars 1,600 cc and below ended at $78,523.

Rates for big cars 1,600cc and above went down by $2,804 to $90,200.

COE premiums for motorcycles, on the other hand, dropped by $77 to $1,612.
