Revenue and other income for the period stood at $911m (HK$5.6b), 6.3% above YoY.

However, combined container throughput of HIT, COSCO-HIT, and ACT decreased by 3.3% YoY primarily due to lower empty and transshipment cargoes.

The container throughput of YICT increased by 12.7% YoY due to the increase in laden export, inbound empty, and transshipment cargoes.

Average revenue per TEU for Hong Kong was above last year, mainly attributed to higher storage income.

For average revenue per TEU in China, it was below last year due to the higher portion of empty and transshipment cargoes.
