LTA rolls out Tampines to Changi North Industrial Estate bus service

It will be launched on 17 March.

According to a release, a new trunk bus service - Service 4 - will be launched from Sunday, 17 March 2013. The new service will provide better connectivity for commuters travelling between Tampines and the Changi North Industrial Estate and its surrounding area.

This is the seventh bus service to be rolled out under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP).

The new service will enhance connectivity for commuters travelling between Tampines, Flora Road and Changi North Industrial Estate as well as its surrounding areas, with the service calling at eight new bus stops in the Flora and Changi North Industrial Estate.

It will also enhance the connectivity to key transport nodes at Tampines Bus Interchange and MRT, where they can transfer to other bus services or rail lines to reach their destination.

In addition, Service 4 will improve connection of these areas to amenities within Tampines Town such as schools and malls.

Operating daily from 6.00am to 11.30pm, Service 4 will run at a frequency of 10 minutes during peak hours and 15 minutes during off-peak periods.

The service will ply along Tampines Avenue 7, Flora Road, Upper Changi Road North and Changi North Way before looping back to Tampines Bus Interchange via Tanah Merah Besar Road.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
