SingPost taps Teo Swee Lian as chairman-designate

Her appointment took effect on 21 May.

Singapore Post (SingPost) has appointed Teo Swee Lian as a non-independent non-executive director and chairman-designate with effect from 21 May.

Teo will succeed Simon Israel as chair after the upcoming annual general meeting (AGM), marking the end of his nine-year tenure.

Teo will also be appointed as an additional member of the Finance and Investment Committee, Compensation Committee, and Nominations and Corporate Governance Committee.  

Prior to her appointment, Teo held board and directorship roles with Singtel and AIA. She is also presently chairman and non-executive independent director of CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust Management Limited.

She also presently holds directorship positions at HSBC and Clifford Capital amongst others.
