Hyflux gets green light for leave to convene scheme meetings

The water firm first filed its application on 15 January.

Embattled water firm Hyflux received High Court approval for leave to convene meetings of parties with whom its subsidiaries Hydrochem, Hyflux Membrane Manufacturing and Hyflux Engineering have financial obligations for the purpose of considering and voting on a compromise or arrangement, a local bourse filing revealed.

The water firm first filed its application on 15 January, along with its request to extend its debt moratorium deadline. 

The filing further noted that the applicants for the scheme meetings will share more announcements to convene the aforementioned meetings in due course. The next court hearing will take place on 30 April 2020.
