Bumitama Agri’s H1 net income jumps 47.8%

Bumitama Agri Ltd.’s net income attributable to owners of the company reached $100.33m (IDR 1.27t) in the first half (H1) of 2025, up 47.8% from last year.

In a bourse filing, the company said its revenue increased 28.2% to $769.46m (IDR 9.74t) in H1, whilst cost of sales increased 23.6% to $566.43m (IDR 7.17t). This led to a gross profit of $203.03m (IDR 2.57t), up 43% from last year.

“The group’s oil palm plantations and mills are all located and operate in Indonesia, where the group cultivates, harvests, and processes the fruit from the oil palm trees to produce and sell CPO and PK,” the company said.

“Some customers purchase the group’s palm products in advance, and these advance sales are recognised as revenue during the year when the related orders are fulfilled,” it added.

Bumitama Agri reported an earnings per share attributable to owners of the company of $0.0577 (IDR 730) per share, up from $0.039 (IDR 494) per share a year ago.
