Olam Group’s profit balloons in H1

Revenue during the period also rose 49.9% YoY to $15.3b.

Olam Group has reported a profit after tax and minority interest of $323.8m for the first half of the year, representing a 573.2% year-on-year surge.

Revenue during the period also rose 49.9% YoY to $15.3b, whilst operating profit (or ebit) grew 85.5% YoY to $708.7m.

Excluding one-off items, core PATMi grew to $327.1m on the back of improved performance.

The group has declared an interim dividend of $0.2 per share.
