Wilmar buys Windsor & Brook Trading

The agribusiness company continues to delve into the sugar business.

Wilmar International Limited on Monday said that Wilmar Trading Pte Ltd, its wholly-owned subsidiary, has entered into an agreement to acquire the business of Windsor & Brook Trading Pte Ltd, according to a Wilmar announcement.

The acquisition of Windsor & Brook, a Singapore sugar trading company is expected to be completed before the 2010 ends.

Wilmar said funding for the purchase will be from internal sources of funds and bank borrowings.
