SATS taps Sandeep Sakharkar as new chief digital officer

His appointment is effective from 17 March.

SATS appointed Sandeep Sakharkar as chief digital officer (CDO) effective 17 March.

Sakharkar brings over two and a half decades of experience in emerging technologies.

He will be responsible for the development and execution of the company’s digital strategy, including the integration of data analytics, automation, and AI into the company’s global operations.

Prior to his appointment, Sakharkar held senior roles at Johnson & Johnson, Footlocker, and GXO Logistics. He is also the founder and non-executive chairman of AI startup Datanoetic.

With Sandeep’s proven track record, we are poised to unlock improvements in data-driven decision-making, operational efficiency, and customer-centric innovation,” Kerry Mok, president and CEO of SATS said.
