Scoot inducted as a full IATA member

As a member, Scoot will have access to IATA training in major fields.

Singapore Airlines Group’s low-cost subsidiary, Scoot, has become a full member of the International AirTransport Association (IATA).

Only airlines that meet IATA’s Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) standards for safety in airline operations can be a member of the association.

As a member of the IATA, Scoot will have opportunities to help drive priorities within the aviation industry and participate in member conferences that bring together representatives from leading international airlines.

Scoot will also gain access to IATA training in aviation safety and security, operational efficiency and excellence, and sustainability, as well as programmes that help strengthen the capabilities of aviation industry professionals.

In turn, Scoot will have to maintain an IOSA registration and comply with the IOSA programme, an internationally recognised and accepted evaluation system designed to assess an airline's operational management and control systems.
