Singapore Airlines Group’s passenger traffic up 9.7% YoY

The Group’s passenger load factor (PLF) climbed to 88.5%.

The Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group flew a total of 3.54 million passengers in July 2025, marking a 9.7% YoY increase.

The Group’s passenger load factor (PLF) climbed to 88.5%, up 2.9 percentage points from a year earlier.

Passenger traffic, measured in revenue passenger-kilometres (RPK), rose by 6.2%, whilst capacity in available seat-kilometres (ASK) expanded by 2.8%. Both Singapore Airlines and its low-cost carrier Scoot posted strong PLFs — 87.4% and 92.2%, respectively.

Scoot carried 1.23 million passengers, a 13.2% increase over July 2024, outpacing the parent airline's 8.0% growth with 2.31 million passengers.

Scoot’s highest load factor was on "Rest of the World" routes at 94.6%, whilst Singapore Airlines saw its best performance in the South West Pacific region at 93.4%.

Cargo performance was more subdued. While cargo loads rose 2.1%, capacity grew slightly faster at 2.7%, pulling the cargo load factor down to 57.1% (-0.3 pts). Europe saw the sharpest decline in cargo efficiency, dropping 7.3 points YoY.
