ST Engineering boosts operations with a third hangar in Pensacola Int'l Airport

The hangar will increase operations by 500,000 hours yearly starting H2 2026.

ST Engineering launched its third aircraft maintenance hangar at Pensacola International Airport.

The new 167,000 sq ft hangar, with two bays for widebody aircraft, will boost operations by 500,000 hours yearly starting H2 2026.

It is part of ST Engineering’s planned airframe Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) complex in Pensacola, comprising four hangar facilities that will generate over 1,700 jobs when fully completed.

The project is co-funded by ST Engineering, Triumph Gulf Coast, Inc., the City of Pensacola, Escambia County, the State of Florida, and other state and federal organizations.

To reduce the carbon footprint of its hangars and meet energy needs, ST Engineering teamed up with Florida Power & Light (FPL), which supplies them with renewable energy from FPL’s offsite solar farm.

In addition, the hangars are equipped with green and smart technology features such as light-harvesting skylights to lower electricity consumption and integrated vertical lift machines to improve operational efficiency.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.
The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.
If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
