The route will start operating on 25 December.
West Air will launch a new Lhasa-Chongqing-Singapore route on 25 December, marking the first international route since the official renaming of Lhasa Gongga International Airport.
The route will be operated by an Airbus A319 with three round-trip flights per week.
The outbound flight, PN6425, will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, departing from Lhasa at 5:40 PM, arriving in Chongqing at 8:30 PM, and continuing to Singapore with a departure from Chongqing at 10:50 PM (11 PM on Mondays), arriving in Singapore at 3:55 AM the next day.
The return flight, PN6426, will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. It will depart Singapore at 4:55 AM, arrive in Chongqing at 9:40 AM, and continue to Lhasa with a departure at 12:20 PM, arriving at 3:20 PM.
This new route follows the implementation of the China-Singapore mutual visa exemption agreement in February 2024, allowing ordinary passport holders from both countries to travel without a visa.
