KSH Holdings suffers $6.5m net loss for H1 2025
The loss was attributed to lower construction revenue and investment losses.
KSH Holdings reported a net loss of $6.5m for H1 2025 amidst lower construction revenue and loss in share of results of associates and joint ventures.
Revenue for the period dropped 64.3% year-on-year (YoY) from $147.8m to $52.7m.
The lower construction revenue was mainly attributed to the completion of various projects awarded just before or during the COVID-19 pandemic, while projects awarded and commenced post-pandemic were still in the early construction stages.
Meanwhile, the share of results from associates and joint ventures incurred a loss of $8.1m, mainly due to losses in property development projects from pre-launch expenses, finance costs, sales and marketing expenses, and other operating costs.
Loss per share stood at $0.0117. The company declared an interim dividend of $0.005 per share.
