OKP bags $87.3m LTA contract for Jurong Region Line works

The contract spans 60 months.

OKP Holdings Limited secured an $87.3m contract from the Land Transport Authority (LTA) for commuter infrastructure works along the Jurong Region Line, with the 60-month contract beginning on 27 February 2026.

Or Kim Peow Contractors (Private) Limited—a subsidiary of the Group—will design and construct covered linkways, cycling paths, footpaths, and roadworks around stations.

The project scope includes the reconstruction or modification of retaining walls, drains, street furniture, and turfing, according to a press release.

The award brings the Group’s construction order book to $627.2m as current projects extend to 2031.

OKP holds four prior LTA contracts for cycling path networks totalling $617.8m, including a $258.3m project in the East region, a $92.9m project in Western Singapore, a $78.3m project in the Central region, and a $188.3m project across seven towns in the East Region.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
