Podium raises $20.4m in Series A-1 funding round

Podium, a cloud-based digital platform for industrialised construction and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA), has raised $20.4m in the first close of its Series A-1 funding round.
Autodesk led the funding round, with participation from Schindler and Lendlease.
Podium's platform streamlines the design-to-supply process by automating workflows to deliver outcome-based designs, enabling stakeholders to optimise designs using real-time insights into cost, time, buildability, and sustainability.
Through its application programming interface and integration of a DfMA-ready "kit of parts" defined directly by suppliers, Podium offers instant feedback to align briefed outcomes with design intent.
The platform is collaborating with JTC Corporation to enhance design processes, reducing risks such as conflicting design code requirements and inadequate coordination among architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
Podium plans to expand in markets like Singapore and Australia, engaging with property developers, design consultants, supply chain partners, and government agencies.
