RSP to build $200m estate for Malaysian royalty
The estate will be the private residence of the royal family.
Singapore-based design firm RSP Architects, Planners and Engineers has been appointed to design a 27-hectare waterfront estate worth $200m for the Malaysian royal family’s private residence in Desaru, Malaysia.
According to RSP’s Facebook post, this encompasses a royal villa, guest houses, a children’s club, sporting facilities, and a secure underground complex to support the Regent of Johor’s household. These facilities are estimated to be completed in a span of four years.
“This collaboration carries special meaning, shaped by years of mutual respect and understanding between our families. To help bring such a significant and personal project to life on this iconic stretch of coastline is a rare privilege,” Kiat Lim, chairman of RSP said.
