Adventus Singapore Pte. Ltd. bags accolade at SBR National Business Awards 2025

The company secured the win with its efforts in helping customers build a scalable serverless IT infrastructure.

Adventus Singapore Pte. Ltd. emerged as the recipient of the IT Services honour at the SBR National Business Awards 2025, which commended the company for setting up a lean and scalable IT infrastructure for Moog Aircraft Services Asia Pte Ltd’s new office. 

Through the implementation of Microsoft Azure and Office 365, Adventus has provided Moog with flexible cloud services and comprehensive IT support, enabling efficient operations and access to critical resources.

Moog, a joint venture between Moog Inc. and SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC), specialises in maintaining, repairing, and overhauling flight control systems for next-generation aircraft. Moog has over six decades of experience and is a leading supplier of fully integrated flight control systems, utility actuators, and control actuation subsystems for military, commercial, regional aircraft and business jets.

With the launch of the joint venture, Moog required a new office equipped with a streamlined IT infrastructure. The company needed a range of IT solutions, including office productivity tools, file storage, and IT support services. 

Moog entrusted Adventus with the task of managing its IT services. Adventus then implemented a suite of solutions tailored to Moog’s needs, including Microsoft Azure, a cloud platform providing flexible and scalable computing services; Microsoft Office 365, a cloud-based suite that enhances collaboration and productivity with apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams; and remote IT support, where Adventus provides round-the-clock IT troubleshooting and support. 

Furthermore, Adventus implemented on-site IT support and structured maintenance to ensure maximum uptime and minimise errors.

These cloud-based solutions have brought several key advantages to Moog. Moog can now expand its IT infrastructure without worrying about physical servers. Cloud-based systems also give Moog employees the ability to access files and documents from any location with an internet connection. Teams can also easily collaborate across different locations using cloud services Moreover, the move to the cloud reduces the need for on-site hardware, hence faster and more reliable data storage.

Microsoft Azure and Office 365 also feature advanced security features like encryption and two-factor authentication, ensuring data protection.

The Adventus helpdesk resolves 90% of IT issues remotely within 10 minutes, with an onsite response time of two hours for more complex issues. Microsoft’s 99.9% uptime guarantee ensures Moog’s systems remain operational with minimal downtime.

Since it worked hand-in-hand with Adventus, Moog now works with a single IT provider for all its needs, saving time and improving efficiency. It is also assured of optimal performance as the cloud-based infrastructure is automatically updated with the latest patches and software upgrades.
