Momentus Hotels & Resorts wins at Singapore Business Review Management Excellence Awards 2025
Inclusive hiring and culture-building initiatives foster belonging and growth across all roles.
Momentus Hotels & Resorts won the Diversity & Inclusion Initiative of the Year - Hospitality & Leisure in the Singapore Business Review Management Excellence Awards 2025.
Established in Singapore in 2022, Momentus Hotels & Resorts built its identity around a people-first strategy that prioritises inclusivity, respect, and opportunity. From the launch of its flagship property, Momentus Hotel Alexandra, the group has sought to ensure that diversity and equal access are embedded across every level of its operations.
The company strengthened its inclusive hiring framework with support from SG Enable, SPD, and the Yellow Ribbon Project. Together, these efforts widened access to meaningful employment, diversified the workforce and extended beyond recruitment - forming part of performance evaluations, talent reviews, and leadership development pathways.
To strengthen representation and belonging, the company also integrates cultural visibility into daily operations. Teams celebrate International Women’s Day, national holidays, and personal milestones such as Mother’s and Father’s Day. Inclusive messaging, multilingual greetings, and cultural observances help nurture a workplace where employees feel seen and valued.
Momentus Hotels & Resorts further supports employee well-being through initiatives like dedicated Chillax Rooms, Town Halls, engagement activities, and open-door dialogues with management. These touchpoints create ongoing feedback loops that inform responsive policy adjustments and strengthen trust between teams and leaders.
Beyond inclusivity, the company’s innovation committee ensures that practical ideas from frontline employees are heard and implemented, demonstrating its belief that innovation begins from the ground up.
The Momentus Aspire Xellence Programme promotes cross-department mobility, whilst the Momentus Management and Leadership Programmes prepare mid-level team members for senior roles. Collaboration with Workforce Singapore’s Career Conversion Programme for Tourism Professionals also supports flexible job redesign and career continuity.
Recognition and retention are reinforced through benefits such as Celebration Leave, Welcome Back bonuses for returning interns, and the Momentus Star Awards, which spotlight team members who go above and beyond in service excellence.
The Singapore Business Review Management Excellence Awards honours visionary executives, innovators, and high-performing teams, as well as initiatives that champion diversity, inclusion, employee engagement, and workplace well-being.
