2-storey Bussorah Street shophouse for sale for $5.18m

The expression of interest is until 15 June.

A two-storey shophouse on Bussorah Street has been put for sale for $5.18m, its exclusive agent Feracity announced.

Located in Kampong Glam, the property has a land area of 725 square feet (sq. ft.) and a floor area of 1300 sq. ft. subject to survey. It has a tenure of 99 years from 2003, ensuring stability and long-term potential for growth, Feracity said.

The real estate agency also said the shophouse currently has tenants, which assures immediate rental income.

“This presents an opportune moment for savvy investors and entrepreneurs to capitalise on prime real estate,” Feracity Associate Executive Director Adnic Lee said.

According to Feracity, the Kampong Gelam Alliance, which is composed of residents, cultural institutions and businesses in the area, revealed in July 2023 its plans to further attract visitors.

“These initiatives, spanning the next four to five years, include enriching the district with cultural activities, green spaces, and captivating artwork, solidifying its position as an enticing destination for visitors and residents alike,” the agency said.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
