ARA US Hospitality Trust's net income falls to US$11.9m in Q3

Year-to-date, however, the trust's income increased.

Despite higher occupancy and revenue, ARA US Hospitality Trust's net income still fell to US$11.9m in Q3.

In Q3, the trust recorded a revenue of US$48.7m (vs US$48.5m in Q2), and an occupancy rate of 71.0% (vs 70.7% in Q2).

Whilst net income dropped in Q3, the trust still saw an 80% YoY jump in its net income year-to-date.

The trust said its strong recovery momentum in the second and third quarters pushed its YTD income to US$33.0m, which is 80% higher than the same period last year.

Meanwhile, the trust also reported that in Q3 they were able to complete the sale of its five Hyatt Place hotels.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
