CapitaLand China Trust manager taps Gerry Chan as new CEO
He was also appointed as an executive non-independent director and a member of the executive committee.
The manager of CapitaLand China Trust (CLCT) has appointed Gerry Chan as its chief executive officer (CEO) and executive non-independent director, effective from 1 January 2025.
He will be responsible for leading and driving CLCT's strategy, growth, and performance, as well as overseeing its day-to-day operations.
Chan is currently CLCT’s deputy CEO. He will succeed Tan Tze Wooi. Chan will also be appointed as a member of the Executive Committee (EC).
Prior to his appointment, he was managing director of REIT Investments at CapitaLand Ascott Trust (CLAS) and held several leadership positions within the CapitaLand Group.
Chan holds a Master of Business and a Bachelor of Accountancy (First Class) from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
