Chart of the Day: 2.2 million sqm of industrial space to be completed in 2020

About 80% of the upcoming supply will be for factory space.

This chart from JTC Corporation reveals that about 2.2 million sqm of industrial space is expected to be completed by 2020. About 40% of the supply will be for single-user factory space and another 40% for multiple-user factory space.

Amongst these, eight JTC developments are expected to be up in the next 12 months, totalling around 870,000 sqm.

In 2021 to 2023, around 2.7 million sqm is projected to be completed. Including the 2020 figure, the average annual supply for the next four years hit 1.2 million sqm.
