Daily Briefing: Singapore GIC acquires European warehouse group; NEA raises household garbage collection fees

Singapore's wealth fund GIC has bought a top European warehouse developer and manager for 2.4 billion euros in Europe's biggest real estate transaction this year. According to a joint statement by the four companies, GIC has acquired P3 Logistic Parks from US-based TPG Real Estate and Canada's Ivanhoe Cambridge. Read more here.

The National Environment Agency is raising the refuse collecton fees for households in Singapore starting next year due to high operating costs. The monthly fees will increase to $8.25 for households living in HDB flats and condominiums that have not opted out of the public waste collection scheme, compared to the previous $7.49.
