Far East H-REIT receives $18m incentive fee from Central Square divestment

The REIT has received a total of $331.2m from the sale of the property. 

Far East H-REIT has received an incentive fee of $18m from the acquirer of Central Square. 

The incentive fee, when added to the purchase consideration of $313.2m received earlier, brings the total amount the company received to $331.2m.

The total amount represents a 67% premium to the book value of the property (as of 30 September 2021) and an 80.7% premium to its original price of $1883.3m in August 2012.

After providing for the divestment costs of $2.6m, the property's net gain is $130.3m.
