Mapletree Pan Asia Commercial Trust to issue $150m green notes

The issuance has a fixed rate of 4.25%.

In a local bourse filing, Mapletree Pan Asia Commercial Trust (MPACT) announced the issuance of Senior Green Notes worth $150m with a fixed rate of 4.25%.

The issuance will be made on 29 March 2022 and will mature by 2030, MPACT Management Ltd., the manager said.

The plan falls under MPACT’s $5b Euro Medium Term Securities Programme established last 27 September 2022.

The amount raised will be utilised by MPACT and its subsidiaries “to finance or refinance, in whole or in part, eligible green projects in accordance with the MPACT Green Finance Framework.”

Credit rating company, Moody’s Investors Service gave a Baa1 rating to the green notes.

Appointees as the joint lead managers and joint book-runners for the notes issuance are DBS Bank Ltd. and Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited.
