The four most active REITs are Singapore-focused, have high yields: SGX

They have an average dividend yield of 5.3%.

The four most active REITs on the Mainboard have Singapore-focused portfolios, data from the SGX revealed.

These REITs--Suntec REIT, Ascendas REIT, CapitaCommercial Trust and CapitaMall Trust--have an average turnover velocity of 70%. This is above the average turnover velocity of 50% recorded by the 10 most active REITs for the 12 months ended February.

The four REITs also registered an average dividend yield of 5.3%, nearly twice the yield of the Singapore Fixed Income Index at 2.9%.

These four REITs are among the oldest listings on SGX, with Singapore retail, industrial and office properties accounting for more than 90% of their portfolio.
