HDB launches tender for 3 residential sites

The Housing and Development Board is now taking bid applications for 3 residential sites. Each of these sites has a 99-year leasehold.

The Bishan Street 14 site is estimated to yield about 650 condominium housing units. Located near Bishan MRT station, the land parcel spans 4.9 hectares in maximum gross floor area. Nearby amenities include shopping malls like Junction 8, Bishan Park, schools and major roads.

Its minimum offer price is US$147.9 million – the amount that a developer has committed at least to bid in the tender. Tender deadline is 12 noon on 24 February 2011.

Also slated for condominium housing, the Sengkang Square/Compassvale Road site is close to shopping malls like Compass Point, major roads and schools. It spans three hectares in maximum gross floor area and can generate about 530 housing units. Tender deadline is 12 noon on 15 March 2011.

The Choa Chu Kang Drive site can yield about 490 executive condominium units. It has a maximum gross floor area of 2.8 hectares.
