Jalan Besar Plaza launched for en bloc sale for $390m

The 35-year-old building needs a new owner.

Jalan Besar Plaza, a mixed-use commercial and residential building located in the Kallang Planning Area, has been launched for bulk sale by real estate group Huttons Asia.

Jalan Besar Plaza consists of a 16-storey building inclusive of a three-storey commercial podium, 44 residential apartments and 111 commercial units.

The estimated sale price translates to $2,451 per square foot. The building is zoned under Commercial and Residential under the 2014 Master Plan.

Prospective owners could choose to transform the property into a full-fledged commercial property, integrated with offices and/or medical suites.

The tender closes on Jan 21, 2016.
