LHN net profit drops 14.6% in H124

Gross profit rose 36.0% to $34.6m.

LHN reports a net profit of $13.0m in 1H24, down 14.6% YoY from $15.2m in H123 due to the absence of one-time gain realised in H123.

Revenue for the period rose 27.2% to $54.5m, whilst gross profit increased 36% to $34.8m.

The increase was due to a significant rise in revenue from the co-living segment within its Space Optimization Business and Facilities Management Business, which grew revenues by 34.1% YoY to $35.9m and by 3.6% YoY to $17.2m, respectively.

The outlook for 2024 remains positive, with the company’s co-living properties forecasted to drive its residential segment forward supported by a pipeline of new projects, a recent tender win, and an acquisition plan.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
