MIT buys 10 data centres in North America for $750.1m
Its portfolio now has a total of 27 data centres in the said continent.
Mapletree Rosewood Data Centre Trust (MRODCT), a unit of Mapletree Industrial Trust (MIT), has acquired 10 powered shell data centres in North America for about $750.1m (US$557.3m) from Digital Realty Trust, according to an SGX filing.
This follows after its MRODCT was constituted pursuant to a joint venture agreement between Mapletree Investments and MIT.

Following the completion of the acquisitions of a 100% interest in the powered shell portfolio
and an 80% interest in the Turnkey Portfolio, MIT’s portfolio now comprises 87 industrial properties in Singapore and 27 data centres in North America.
