Office prices, rentals ease in Q3

Island-wide vacancy rate improves to 11.2%

Prices of office space in Singapore fell 0.2% in Q3, after a 1.1% decline in the previous quarter, according to data from the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) released on 24 October.

Office rentals also eased 0.1% during the quarter, following a 0.3% drop in Q2 2025.

The total pipeline supply of office space reached about 870,000 square metres of gross floor area at the end of Q3 2025, slightly higher than 868,000 sq. m. in the previous quarter, URA said.

Occupied office space grew by 1,000 sq. m. (net) in Q3 2025, down from a 9,000 sq. m. (net) increase in Q2 2025. Total stock declined by 24,000 sq. m. (net), compared with an 18,000 sq. m. (net) contraction in the preceding quarter. As a result, the island-wide vacancy rate edged down to 11.2% from 11.4% by the end of Q2 2025.

URA’s quarterly statistics on office rentals and vacancies, including breakdowns by location, floor area, and building class, are available through its Property Market Information portal.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
