A-REIT embroiled in legal tussle with two contractors

It has filed a case with the Supreme Court.

Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust is has commenced legal and arbitration proceedings in the Supreme Court of Singapore against two of its contractors.

These contractors, namely A@risco Services and Concorde Security, are seeking $5.4m from A-REIT for services rendered.

A-REIT is seeking adjudication on the total amounts payable are is also seeking damages from A@risco in the sum of approximately $460,000 for, among others, certain works done by A@risco.
