Singapore's prime office rents are the seventh cheapest in Asia

Singapore's prime office rents are the seventh most affordable in Asia Pacific, JLL revealed.

According to its JLL Global Premium Office Rent Tracker, the total occupancy cost in Q4 is $113.27 (US$84) psf. It is well below the regional average of $149.63 (US$111).

Costs in Hong Kong hit $435.47 (US$323) psf, the most expensive in the region and the world. Meanwhile, rents in Kuala Lumpur are the most affordable at $40.45 (US$30) psf, followed by Manila and Bangkok at $47.19 (US$35) psf.

In the global rankings, Singapore's office rent price is 24 places away from Midtown New York's costs of $261.52 (US$194) psf, the second most expensive.

Singapore is right below Paris, wherein prime office rents are at $114.58 (US$85) psf.
