Sports Hub rebrands as The Kallang, adds recreational venues
The precinct will offer new food and beverage concepts, a sheltered padel court, amongst others, before its completion in 2028.
The Singapore Sports Hub will operate under its new name The Kallang and will offer new recreational venues.
Kallang Alive Sport Management, the company that manages the Singapore Sports Hub, also changed its corporate name to The Kallang Group.
The Kallang is a precinct that encompasses all current infrastructure and assets that was previously known as the Singapore Sports Hub.
The precinct will offer new food and beverage concepts, a sheltered padel court, a playground, and bouldering walls as it will be enhanced in phases from Q2 2026 before its completion in 2028.
The precinct will remain operational throughout the enhancement works, the group said.
Since the 2022 government takeover, The Kallang has also staged sport, entertainment, and lifestyle events, such as the World Aquatics Championships and the World Paraswimming Championships, and was the venue for performances for musical acts such as Lady Gaga.
