Kelvin Lee
Kelvin is the co-founder and CEO of Fundnel, a private investment platform that offers unlisted securities in growth and pre-IPO stage companies across industries to a qualified network of investors. He co-founded Fundnel in 2015 with the vision of making a difference to small and medium-sized enterprises that experience insufficient access to growth and expansion funding.
At Fundnel, he is responsible for driving growth and initiatives in every facet of the business. A former investment banker turned entrepreneur, Kelvin was previously in J.P. Morgan covering clients in North and Southeast Asia and has raised over US$20billion for clients to date. Prior to J.P. Morgan, he was with Standard Chartered working on leveraged and acquisition finance, balance sheet & capital structure optimization, and other alternative structured capital raising solutions such as the securitization of receivables and the provision of sale and leaseback structures.
Kelvin’s biggest inspiration is Elon Musk, who he believes in a true dreamer and visionary, and inspires a whole generation of entrepreneurs. Like him, Kelvin believes in being bold, pushing the boundaries to change, and creating a new status quo. He is a firm believe of the popular saying—nothing ventured, nothing gained.
