Danny was appointed as Lite-On Group New Business CEO in 2013. He has also held multiple posts that include being the Plant Director, Senior VP of Procurement Dept. and Sales & Marketing Dept., Head of Optical Storage Business Unit since 2009. From 2002 to 2013, Danny served as President, CEO, and CSO of the Lite-On IT Corporation. From 2011 to 2013, he was also the CEO of LeoTek Electronics.
Danny Quant
Danny is an actuary, responsible for Milliman’s Employee Benefits consulting services in Asia and the Middle East. Danny qualified as an actuary in the UK in 1988 and has worked in Asia since 1989, initially in Hong Kong and then Malaysia. He has advised some of the largest companies in the region and several government agencies providing actuarial and investment consulting services. He has been based in Singapore since early 2012.
Datin Seri Umayal Eswaran
Born in Sri Lanka and raised in a home that valued generosity and service, Datin Seri Umayal Eswaran is a passionate advocate for addressing social issues through impactful initiatives. As Chairperson of RYTHM Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of the QI Group, she leads transformative projects in education, women’s empowerment, and community development across Asia.
Under her leadership, the foundation established Taarana School, a dedicated centre for children with special education needs, bridging gaps in resources and support for families. Through the Maharani School Programme and Maharani Learning Lab, the Foundation empowers young women with the tools to overcome social barriers and realise their full potential.
Her vision extends to holistic community development. The Community Adoption Programme has demonstrated remarkable success, such as the academic and personal growth of its beneficiaries in Sabah. Additionally, the Foundation has actively supported the Kensiu Indigenous Orang Asli community through initiatives that enhance education and eco-tourism opportunities, preserving their heritage while fostering sustainable livelihoods.
Datin Seri Umayal Eswaran’s vision reflects a steadfast belief in creating opportunities for those in need and inspiring collective change.
Dave Mackerness
Dave leads Kaer’s brand experience across Asia. With a background in consumer marketing and over a decade of experience in the real estate industry, Dave specialises in analysing customer insights that drive Kaer’s product development roadmap and customer engagement platform.
As an advocate of the circular economy and the “product-as-a-service” business model, Dave regularly shares experiences with large MNC’s and start-ups who are looking to transition to this disruptive business model. Outside his role at Kaer, Dave is a member of The Global Servitisation For Energy Transition (SET) Alliance and the former Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce’s Built Environment Committee.

Previously, Dave served as the Sales Director and Head of Enterprise Sector Sales, where he played a pivotal role in propelling digital transformation initiatives and fostering strategic partnerships with key clients. His deep understanding of the Asia Pacific market and expertise in leveraging technology for sustainability have been instrumental in shaping Fujitsu's regional success.
Dave is passionate about driving sustainable business growth through technology. As Managing Director of Fujitsu Asia, he leads the charge in delivering Uvance solutions that address complex challenges. A strong advocate for collaboration, Dave believes technology can create a positive impact on both businesses and society.
David Baey
David has been a driving force in the Mortgage industry for over 12 years. He started out at DBS specialising in Mortgage and rose to become Branch Business Senior Relationship Manager. He then led the Mortgage department at MoneySmart before co-founding Mortgage Master in 2019. He believes in the win-win-win scenario between customer, bank and broker.
