Chart of the day: 2 in 5 adults uncomfortable not wearing masks in indoor spaces

This chart from YouGov shows how much adult Singaporeans are uncomfortable not wearing a mask in different indoor spaces.

Singaporeans feel the most uncomfortable without a face mask when visiting private transport modes. 40% don’t want to visit airports or train stations and indoor events or festivals without a mask.

This was followed by nightlife establishments (35%), Cinemas (32%), and shopping centres (30%).

Singaporean adults are least uncomfortable with indoor settings such as a friend or family’s house (10%) and educational institutions (23%).

In 29 August, Singapore has drop its mask requirement rules when in an indoor setting however it kept the mask rules for those riding public transportation and visiting healthcare settings.
