Headline inflation eases to 0.6% in July

Meanwhile, it settled at 0.6% compared to last year

Singapore’s headline inflation decreased by 0.4% month-on-month to 0.6% in July 2025.

Latest data from the Department of Statistics showed that prices of food transport, housing & utilities, education, and health all rose from the same period last year.

The biggest jump was in health, with prices increasing 2.4% from last year, followed by transport (2.1%), food (1.1%), education (0.7%), and housing & utilities (0.3%).

Meanwhile, prices of clothing & footwear, information & communication, recreation, sport & culture, households durables & services, miscellaneous goods and services declined.

The information & communication saw the biggest decline with 2.6%, followed by clothing & footwear (2.3%), recreation, sport & culture (1.2%), households durables & services (0.5%), and miscellaneous goods and services (0.4%).
