Singapore lands 4th place in net financial assets per capita ranking

An average household has a net financial asset of $246,944.

Singapore has landed in fourth place in the net financial assets per capita ranking, according to the Allianz Global Wealth Report 2024.

On average, each private household boasts net financial assets of $246,944 (€171,930).

In terms of debt ratio (liabilities as a percentage of GDP), the country recorded a sharp decline over the last two years.

Overall, Singapore’s net financial assets was at $1.3t (954b), a 7.1 year-on-year (YoY) increase.
