H2G Green forms new unit to expand into LNG and hydrogen trade
The new unit will build on H2G’s existing energy business in Singapore and focus on regional trading activities.
H2G Green Limited has incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary, H2G Clean Energy Pte Ltd, as part of its strategy to expand into the international supply and trading of liquefied natural gas (LNG), hydrogen-related products, and other clean energy solutions.
The new unit will build on H2G’s existing energy business in Singapore and focus on regional trading activities.
The company aims to improve access to clean energy in underserved markets across Asia, targeting supply chain gaps in countries not actively served by major energy players.
H2G cited data from Shell’s LNG Outlook 2025, which projects a 60% increase in global LNG demand by 2040, largely driven by economic growth in Asia, industry decarbonisation, and AI-related energy needs.
The company also confirmed that H2G Clean Energy will support downstream sales of clean hydrogen, biochar, and other sustainable products produced by its other subsidiary, GEIH, as it moves toward commercial production in Singapore.
