Lower costs push City Energy to cut gas tariff for households to $0.2312 per kWh 

The new tariff will apply from 1 April to 30 June.

City Energy will decrease its gas tariff for households by $0.0003 to $0.2312 per kWh from $0.2315 per kWh, citing lower costs.

The lowered gas tariff will apply from 1 April to 30 June.

Including the 9% GST, however, the general tariff will be  $0.2520 per kWh.

City Energy also lowered its bulk tariffs for categories A and B to  $0.2191 per kWh from $0.2201 per kWh and to $0.2131 per kWh from $0.2145 per kWh, respectively.

Including the 9% GST, the bulk tariffs for categories A and B will be $0.2388 and $0.2323 per kWh, respectively.
