Mooreast wins $8.8m multi-buoy mooring project in Thailand

The project is set for completion by H1 2025.

Mooreast has secured a new $8.8m order for a multi-buoy mooring (MBM) upgrade project approximately 1.5 km off the eastern shore of the Gulf of Thailand.

Mooreast will oversee the design, engineering, procurement, fabrication, and installation of the MBM system.

The company will also supply its proprietary MA5P Drag Embedment Anchors, which offer a holding capacity of up to 275 metric tonnes, along with other mooring components to secure various offtake tankers.

In addition, Mooreast will also handle transportation and installation services for the MBM Project in the Gulf of Thailand.

The MBM project will commence in November and is expected to be completed by H1 2025.
