Sembcorp Industries to redeem $200m in perpetual securities

The company elects to redeem all on 22 June.

Sembcorp Industries is redeeming $200m in 3.7% subordinated perpetual securities under the $2.5b multicurrency debt issuance programme, according to an SGX filing.

The company elects to redeem all of the perpetual securities on 22 June. Sembcorp shall pay the redemption price of $250,000 apiece and a global certificate shall be presented and surrendered by the Central Depository.

Upon the redemption, perpetual securities will be cancelled and delisted from the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading.
