Union Steel inks agreements for regional oil and gas expansion

The projects may include offshore construction for oil and gas installations.

Union Steel Holdings Limited has signed cooperation agreements with COSCO SHIPPING Marine Engineering and China Offshore Engineering Solutions for regional oil and gas expansion projects.

The projects may include offshore construction for oil and gas installations, decommissioning platforms in Southeast Asia, international ocean towing and heavy lift transportation, amongst others.

“By pooling our engineering expertise, R&D capabilities, and regional market access, this collaboration strategically positions us to offer integrated and cost-efficient solutions and tap into new growth opportunities within Southeast Asia’s oil & gas markets,” Ang Yu Seng, Executive Chairman and CEO of Union Steel, said.
