Milestone Systems anchors Asia strategy in Singapore hub

The bigger headquarters and experience centre support regional growth plans.

Milestone Systems A/S has shifted its headquarters to Singapore and opened an experience centre, stepping up its Asia‑Pacific push as the region’s security technology market expands toward the end of the decade.

The Danish software firm’s 8,224‑sq‑ft facility opened on 25 February on the 18th floor of Odeon Towers, housing its Asia Experience Centre, a collaboration area for partners and customers.

The office lets them work much more closely with industry partners and customers across the region, Kiean Khoo, Asia business head at Milestone Systems, told Singapore Business Review.

The security technology sector in the Asia‑Pacific region is projected to reach $75.62b by 2030 from $53.66b in 2025, underlining the growth opportunity Milestone Systems is targeting.

The Singapore site also includes a dedicated lab where engineers can develop and test modular system designs linked to the company’s open‑platform video management software.

“There are many technologies emerging in our segment, and the combination of an open platform and a lab environment allows engineers to test solutions, assess sizing and see what works,” Khoo said via Zoom. The experience centre and lab together account for about 20% of the floor area.

The move from Singapore Post Centre to Odeon Towers gives the company a footprint about 40% larger than its previous office.

The Singapore team has about 40 staff, with capacity for up to 60 as hiring continues. “The location will support our growth plans in the region over the coming years,” Khoo said.

Design elements reflect the company’s Danish roots, with soft colours and light wood textures, whilst meeting rooms carry local names such as Sentosa and Marina. Other features include shared discussion areas, a pantry, and skyline views from the lobby.

The office serves as a regional base for sales and business development, covering Southeast Asia and neighbouring markets.

Regional functions including legal, human resources, and finance also operate from the Singapore hub, centralising management as Milestone Systems scales its Asia‑Pacific operations.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
