Life insurance employment up 6% in 2019

Employment in Singapore’s life insurance inched up 6% to 8,448 employees as of end-December 2019, the Life Insurance Association said in a news release.

Almost 15,000 representatives held exclusive contracts with firms that operate a tied agency force as of the same period, a 4% dip compared to 2018.
