DBS extends $23m grant money to 23 enterprises

Of this, 8 were small and medium enterprises.

DBS Foundation announced it awarded a total of $3m grant to 15 social enterprises and 8 small and medium enterprises.

The grant is expected to scale the growth and impact of the 23 awardees, which will be in addition to the Foundations community of more than 10 businesses.

“These businesses play an increasingly important role in creating new solutions to improve lives and livelihoods, and enable change,” Karen Ngui, Group Head, DBS Strategic Marketing and Communications and Board Members of DBS Foundation, said.

“We are privileged to stand alongside these enterprises to help them to build and scale their businesses, as they strive to provide long-term solutions to improve the state of our planet and support the communities in which they live and work in. By coming together and marshalling our collective strengths, we hope to create a greater impact together.”

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
