EnterpriseSG launches sustainability reporting grants for local firms and SMEs
The initiatives will support firms reporting on sustainability and help others prepare.
Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG) will launch two initiatives to support sustainability reporting of Singapore-incorporated companies and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The Sustainability Reporting Grant (SRG) will support all SGX-listed and non-listed Singapore-incorporated companies preparing for or affected by mandatory climate-related disclosures starting 1 November.
The SRG will cover up to 30% of qualifying costs, capped at $150,000, whichever is lower. Qualifying costs can include consultancy, manpower training, and purchasing equipment and software for an ISSB-aligned sustainability report.
Meanwhile, the SME Sustainability Reporting Programme will offer advisory services to local SMEs to assist them in preparing their first sustainability reports at cost-competitive rates.
EnterpriseSG will defray 70% of eligible costs for SMEs that apply for support from 1 November 2024 to 31 March 2026 and 50% for applications from 1 April 2026 to 31 October 2027.
The programme is a partnership between EnterpriseSG, Deloitte, EY, and RSM.
